A new drug nicknamed ‘Viagra for ED’ has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), after an FDA advisory panel that warned consumers about potential side effects.

The company also has launched its own generic versions of the medication, called Viagra Connect.
While the FDA approval of Cialis has not gone down well financially for the drug, it has had to face competition from several other drugs, including generic versions of the drug. The generic versions can cost as little as $10 and are generally more affordable than brand-name drugs like Cialis.

The generic version of Cialis, Viagra Connect, is called ‘Sildenafil’.
